Instructions Regarding Mail Server.

• POP3 and IMAP services are  available with this mail server.

For which:

Outgoing mail (SMTP) : location.in2cable.net

Incoming mail (POP3/IMAP):  location.in2cable.net

• While configuring outlook express or such similar softwares, the user has to give the complete user id as “xyz@midc.in2cable.net”

• Maximum size for any attachment to be send should not exceed  the limit of 1.5MB.If it exceeds, the following error message will come:

“The message could not be sent because its size exceeded the server's limit. You can use the option, located in Tools | Accounts | Properties | Advanced, to break messages into smaller parts. Subject '', Account: 'midc.in2cable.net', Server: 'midc.in2cable.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '552 sorry, that message size exceeds my databytes limit (#5.3.4)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 552, Error Number: 0x800CCC6D”.

• User can change the password from webmail only where the option is provided for changing the password (www.in2cable.com with uid:xyz@midc.in2cable.net)

• User can send the mail to at the most 15 people at a time (including CC & BCC)

If the limit exceeds, it will give an error message as:

“ The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'abc@domain name.com'. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.in2cable.com', Server: 'mail.in2cable.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, too many recipients (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 “
